Brgy. Gumasa is a village of the Town of Glan in the Province of Sarangani. Getting there is not hard, from General Santos City, you can reach Gumasa by passing to the Towns of Alabel and Malapatan which is located from the west coast of the province. To give you a summary about the Town of Glan, it is a 1st class Municipality in the Province of Sarangani and has an estimated population (as of 2010) of 105,537. Their primary source of income is 'Copra', a dried coconut meat which is primarily used as feeds for livestock.
Gumasa lies at the southern portion of the Town for about 7 km. from the Town Proper. I can name some of the Resorts located at Gumasa, the Rosal Beach Resort, Coco Beach Resort and Isla Jardin del Mar.
